Meet Massage therapist Matt!

He has been an active full time massage therapist since Fall of 2007. He came upon massage almost entirely by accident, in fact he began college as a history major concentrating in east asian history! As the semesters passed, he happened to take a class in Anatomy and Physiology. After the first day, he was officially hooked on muscles and bones and have been ever since. It was a field of study that just came natural to him and it created a desire to move forward with it and help people. He dropped out of college and began in studying Massage Therapy. It seemed like the most natural path for him to follow and a career that would allow him to directly apply his love of muscles and bones. In the 10 years that he has been active, he has had lots of experiences, met many interesting people and have worked on both the east and west coast of our country. Spas, salons, PTs, Chiropractors, outcall work and of course the general public of Massage envy, where he has spent the bulk of my career.

He believes has become an adaptable, open minded and skilled practitioner of massage therapy over the years. As a professional, he can handle many issues within the scope of my practice, but his passion has grown into sport performance and rehabilitative styles of massage therapy.

He has a long background in competitive sport: Football and Track and Field in highschool and college, and currently an active Powerlifter and Strength Coach. This experience has given him a deeper knowledge and understanding of the body and its systems of recovery and performance, a skill set that has become invaluable in his practice of Massage Therapy.
